I did some searching and it looks like it will accept BOTH M (as in multi-tuner) cards and S cards. The wall wart for power, like most of those types of things, is actually rated for 100-240V, but you'll need one of those travel plugs to since it would of course be made for a US wall socket.
Nah, domain machine (at home), IP address changes, all other machines are able to ping the machine, on the ONE anniversary machine still seeing the old IP address... even after many /flushdns The following day it resolved but, trying over 3 hours, nothing worked. a update problem, NOT a DNS problem. System was nuked about a month ago, NOT doing it again... I had to roll back because of all the issues (pre RS-1), and I re-installed it and it seems better but, still older app problems, Thank god I use a lot of them on a Windows 7 VM.... funny they all work perfectly... Thanks for the update on the progress, nice find ! Not sure it will help my "shared" tuner thing but, still a nice find.
I just completed Part 2 DVBLogic Server v6, in 10586 with WMCv8.8 DVBLogic Server will not display DRM channels in TV and Media Library. Going to try going to WMC and setup Virtual Tuners to see if DVBLogic Server inherits access to DRM channels. Note: PlayReady was uninstalled from the OS/programs and features, prior to the test. Ran Setup Express, when you get to the Source Setup, I had to hit Next 6 times to get to CableCard Setup screen. When you get to Setup your DVB Link, I had to hit Next 2 times. Configuration shows Pic 10586_038 DVBLink (1 Tuner) DVBLink (1 Tuner) DVBLink (1 Tuner) DVBLink (1 Tuner) DVBLink (1 Tuner) DVBLink (1 Tuner) Digital Cable (CableCard): Comcast My City (3 Tuners) DVBLink (1 Tuner) DVBLink (1 Tuner) Update Playready failed, I turned on Windows Update Service, then went back to WMC to update playready-continued to refuse, fine with me.....so I hit don't Upgrade, and the next screen gets 323 channels, with DRM I should get 440 channels. Went to guide, all the channels show, hit channel 2, Display Driver Error, go Maximise channel 2 plays Go to DRM channel Copying Prohibited Error Music Channels must be DRM or different in some way, cause they do not play. All the rest play fine both SD and HD versions
I don't see why DVB would work any differently with a "shared" tuner vs a local one. I was able to write something to find my tuner as an OCUR through SSDP when it was shared the same as when it was local, only the detection took about 30-40 seconds on average. I would just disable the ehrecvr service on the machine doing the sharing so the DVBLogic and WMC don't both try to use the tuner at once. And unlike the silly Ceton drivers which require your local InfiniTV to also be bridged if it is going to look for a shared remote one treating it as a generic OCUR in DVBLogic should have no such restriction.
I've seen music channels use an MPEG-2 encoding where they only include an I-frame every 30 seconds to a minute. Your streaming might not start until it hits the first I-frame to work from (or it might just not like these huge gaps).
I forgot about that, my other PC's stall too. After re-checking, this one does play 444 Jazz. I see now I have two 444's (likely 2 of everything) One of the 444's is named plain old MC..... that must be the WMC source The other 444 is named MCSMITHJ--MC....that must be the DVBLogic source I'll have to go through them again and test both
I got a screw-up here, this aint right. I had to throw in a different video adapter, that's likely where the screw-up is.. I'll uninstall what I can and do the sfc-Dism thing, then start fresh.
Vimar didn't only invent such multi monster, they also invented the mechanical security protection. Practically on such kind of sockets you have to insert all of the plug's pin at the same time or they will be blocked. They had a patent on this as well, but they shared it for free (something incredible nowadays given the patent trolls are popping out daily) Anyway wold be very uncommon to see high power American things here. Normally you can find here small electronics, chellphones, routers and alike, bought from ebay or from some Chinese vendors, but who minds to buy an high power device in the US? They would need a big, costly and inefficient transformer, the plug would be the lesser problem. It depends on its shape. I have a Photon-Q and a couple of Droid 4 with their original adapters and they fits perfectly
what would shipping to to over there be? if its not that much then sure. input on the power adapter is only 100-120 50-60HZ, so he would need a voltage adapter, not sure of the difference between S and M cards, but both comcast and verizon i had M cards. ok, so, the HDprime is setup and installed, WMC recognizes it, and i got all the way till i hit "watch live tv" now i have a HDCP video card error, im going to start trying to read through 650 pages to see if its been addressed, if someone is nice enought to drop the answer faster would be nice
scratch that issue, i moved the window from me left monitor to the right and it started working.... go figure -_- you all are great! ill keep reading this thread and follow the progress.
If you prefer WMC to be on the other monitor...just run WMC/Display Setup with WMC maximized in the monitor you prefer. Did the install take 2 minutes, or was I exaggerating again?
you were not, it was easy as can be... now, the phone call to verizon to re-pair the card so i could get all the channels... i kid you not, i JUST hungup with them, i called them after it started working. 8 people i was transferred between.
They are likely just plain generic adapters, build from some Chinese company to power routers, firewalls, appliances and so on. Someone may ask how come that the EU was able to use a single money, but is far from adopting a single plug. It's all about the economy scale, a single European plug would be to easy to be built in china in large quantities and will hurt all the European makers, many plugs makes the Chinese business less convenient. For the record, in theory, the standardized European plug exist, it was adopted by a single country: Brazil. That's funny
tried that, still giving me an error, earlier it worked by dragging it to the right monitor, then dragging it back, now its being stuborn, TBH tho, ive always had this issue with WMC so its not new. i looked at the back of the power adapters i have, they are not that design, more more-like a laptop charger, brick in the middle of the line, and they specify 100-120 only.
The CableCard Tuners have really been coming out of the woodwork this week. Looks like glugglug remembered the model number. EADP-20FB A EADP-20FBA According to Amazon, they are still worth $50 and they do OTA. That explains the Worldwide Voltage use, and also might explain how a CableCard Tuner ended up in Germany and Sweden. I can imagine the Verizon pairing call with your old one. Do you have a Tivo? No, I have a EADP-20FB A EADP-20FBA. That one should become a collectors item, it was the first retail offering, and it also went worldwide. The previous version, the internal PC card, the one we thought you had, would have been released before yours. In the past, I had a discussion with one of the guys that were unlocking those TV Tuner Cards, so they could be used in PC's other than the first few licenced PC manufacturers. They were using a BIOS Modification to licence the Tuner for use outside of Hewlet-Packard, etc., I can relate to 8 people required to get your new one going. 4 to unpair from the EADP-20FB A EADP-20FBA, and a different gang of 4 to pair it to the HDHR-3CC
