Can someone please test if Code: C:\Windows\ehome\mcupdate.exe -dbgc -pscn 0 This works in Windows 10? It deletes old EPG data from the mcepg.db. It worked fine in Windows 7 but crashed right after execution in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. It would be very interesting to see if it works in Windows 10
Does anyone know how to get the MS codecs to allow playback of protected content? LAV and others won't play TV channels marked as protected.
Yes, need to know how to install the MS codecs or copy them from 8.1 over so cable card protected content works. No live tv here or guide data on ceton/cable card setup.

I think I screwed up, I've copied the 10036 files to Windows and ran the installer from abbodi (removing the need to copy files). I had changed the wrong part in ehuihlp.dll (the one with 60 in it) and Windows Media Center did not show the live tv options. I changed that back to the old part and changed the one with 30 in it. WMC then crashed when starting and now I get a message about software policies not allowing me to run WMC. Are you sure those are zeroes? All the others were 90.
Thanks, I get a different error now: The video decoder is not working, is not installed, or is not supported.
I like datafilehost because the downlod counter. The leader in umi downloads is France atm, with 20 downloads Curiously enough Germany,Italy and UK are together in second place with 13 downloads We will see in the next days a better view of the WMC interest worldwide.
Not only does it not work for me, if I install it before installing WMC it will fail the Digital Cable Advisor. Plus you can't uninstall it, so I do not recommend it... I even reformatted and installed clean to test with legit retail W10 Pro and same issue.
