Problem solved, thanks to Shark007 "Himself": i had just to install K Lite Codec EDIT 09/19: i had just to install STANDARD_Codecs_v389 from Majorgeeks.com
After rolling back from issues with 393 I decided to try it again. But now build that is available is 14926 - anyone on that version of Windows 10 yet ?
I disabled updates but I was also in Insider Preview. So I kept getting popups today about it expiring 10/1, kind of annoying so updated. I could get rid of Insider Preview but I think I need to do a clean install and too lazy for that
Do you think MS deliberately engineered as part of the update to further kill off the WMC hack or is it a coincidental byproduct of the update?
I guess the experts here (TS, Crash, others) would know more than I .... maybe they just overwrite the Windows directory and thus Ehome folder is blasted or you may be right, they intentionally remove it

I've wondered this myself. They may have some legal obligation to firmly distance themselves from the project for liability reasons.
Can anyone point me to a location for Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB so I do not ever have to worry about the Anniversary edition killing WMC again?
My Ceton Infinitv 4 USB just died. Does anyone have one that still works that is willing to sell it? Or possibly a HD HomeRun Prime? Or anything else that can use a cable card? I don't have any available slots on my PC so it needs to be an external device. Thanks!! Spencer
