If your on the Annversery version, no, WMC wont even detect the tuner.... If your on Pre-anniversary, all is good...
crash2009 had it setup on the Anniversary Update using DVBlink & WMC with non-DRM channels only. I don't know how much that is going to cost. There are also a bunch of other options if you don't need DRM channels.
So really if you want your cake and eat it too one would want Windows 10 LTSB 2015 version which can stall updates for 10 years.
Maybe better To pass the "admission exam" and download/uncompress successful the file either an IQ level above 25 or a kindergarten degree are needed
GO for it, it would fit a lot of cases here.... LOL But, anyway about it you should have something else to help with the moron factor...
I think T-S made it clear that the booby traps and the needed tools are here to filter out the unworthy
N versions are as easy to download as the other versions. Just look around, this very forum is plenty of links to any W10 ISO and/or ESD It's a not finished work, DRM is fixed, CC tuner detection is not. So better to install it as a parallel test installation on a native VHDX or separate partition You can use a VM as well, but a parallel installation would be a better test scenario, two parallel installations would be even better a 10586 and a "hybrid" 14393, to easily compare them, and move files back and forth between them.
Windows update deleted my mce too! Wtf is Microsoft doing? Why would they bother? Alternative version worked but annoying having to set everything up again. Is this common? Should I disable updates? If that's even possible....
It didn't delete it, it was a Windows build update, which is essentially a reinstall of Windows. This will happen about once every 6 months.
Hey guys, awesome work as always, the new 8.8.1 install is even better than the previous v12 but i can't seem to get certain mkv files to play in WMC. I haven't been able to locate the common denominator yet but if anyone has any idea what might be going on any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I'm very much looking forward to being reunited with wmc! Please give this newbie a helping hand and tell me how to install on a 32bit system? I tried your link but it didn't appear to install anything, then when I used the uninstaller it said it was for 64bit systems only, so I guess that's the problem. Thanks in advance, Rich.
The only installer for 32 bit is the regular v12. Go to the first post of this thread for the link. Of course as you know if you are on W10 anniversary edition, it does not work with Cable cards and DRM.
