What's the exact Windows version and build you've installed? On what hardware? Hard to give any pointer with so few details...
Sorry. I did not realize the Windows 11 details were that critical. Since I reinstalled it clean it is the latest version. It is home built machine on Asus ROGZ 690E Motherboard and GTX 4090. There isn't much installed on it yet. I can't think of anything that would have installed codecs. Edition Windows 11 Pro Version 25H2 Installed on 7/23/2026 OS build 26200.8894 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.334.0 Tuner is Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2255 (F111). I have had 2 of them years. The other one is in a Windows 10 PC

what do i do now that i installed the setup ? WMC says no tv tuner wasn't detected and when i launch the setup it crashes immediately.
