Thanks @abbodi1406 ,ESU Just Not applicatable for Core, CoreSingleLanguage , CoreCountrySpecific and ProfessionalWMC Edition. For Windows 8.1, Embedded Industry=Client.
Addendum: CoreConnected, CoreConnectedSingleLanguage and CoreConnectedCountrySpecific are also excluded.
I have modified Windows CoreSingleLanguage. I just add updates to it offline and deploy it. Apparently, I'm gonna have to make Pro from scratch to be able to continue using 8.1 but the question is, will I be able to update it offline with ESU bypass tool ?
And how would you deal with the lack of support for browsers (Edge, Chrome, Opera, Brave..) under Windows 8.1? Even with Firefox it's not clear ...
look, I saw a video of someone on windows vista who cracked firefox for it to work on win vista he opened firefox.exe in a hex editor and there he found the key that was replaced min version, and it is not that it opened normally in the browser on win8.1. have to be the same
Is anyone working on a similar program like "Bypass Windows 7 Extended Security Updates Eligibility" for win 8.1 and or 2012r2?
There is no ESU Bypass tool for 8.1 yet. The situation is more like Vista than Win7, as the clients won't get it, just Server 2012 R2.
2012r2 have update up to october 2023 no need bypass for windows 8.1 use windows server 2012 r2 bypass , wait for tools we search methode
maybe you don't need anything special, just download the cumulative update for each month of 2012 r2 and install it on win 8.1. unless you create a tool that tricks winupdate into thinking it is server 2012 r2 and the updates come via winupdate and it would be even easier hehe
I suspect those updates won't install normally. A tool will be needed to bypass the eligibility requirements to install those updates.
Well there aren't many client 8.1 users but Server 2012 R2 is used often, an ESU bypass or a Simplix-like pack would be useful
