Yup, I did not read down far enough, but be careful as it would not surprise me to see icon font sizes back in Creators Update Public release
Not for me. I even disabled UAC completely and ran exactly this with normal WIM tweak, the NET 4.6 one, and the 4.6.1 one, but each time after a restart Windows told me that it could not complete feature removal and everything gets restored. Did you take ownership of anything or do anything else to make it happen? Here's the exact command and package I used: I even tried it in Safe Mode and it still did not work...
Apps in ''Search'' are still not clickable(Even after the latest CU). ''Sfc /scannow'' says i'm ok. What's wrong with the search ?
I found the reason, if the "Windows Push Notifications User Service" is disabled or set to manual the Notification settings will keep reverting back to On. The service default Startup type is Automatic and is also greyed-out. Fix: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WpnUserService] "Start"=dword:00000002
Defender Update KBKB2267602 is giving error code 0x80070643 and it is failing to install. There is no workaround for me yet.
The Segoe UI substituted by another font, the clock's colon character can't display I don't use Segoe UI font (Blurry anti-aliased fonts hurt my eyes). So, I always use this change: Code: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Fonts] "Segoe UI (TrueType)"="Arial.ttf" ; "Segoe UI (TrueType)"="segoeui.ttf" After Windows 15063 upgraded, the clock's : character is broken in system tray. The colon character became the square. If "segoeui.ttf" substituted by another font in "Segoe UI (TrueType)", Windows 15063 can't display the colon ":" character. Shortly: Windows 15063 always want segoeui.ttf for colon character of the clock in systray. If the colon character will be changed semicolon (or any a character) from Registry/Settings, it can displays. Code: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International] "sShortTime"="HH;mm" [HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\International] "sShortTime"="HH;mm" I would greatly appreciate if you could confirm this issue and report to Windows Feedback app. (When I removed all Apps, the W.Feedback has been deleted too.)
Well, I'm on build 15063.11 and till now I can't find it.im using the reg files and no problems so far
Creators Update Brightness and Volume slider in Actions Bar Hello guys. I used to read news about Creators Update but later on I have stopped. Now that RTM is "live" I am missing that feature all news portals wrote. I think that those sliders are must have thing in tablet mode, but now in creators update i don't see them. Were they removed from final release or there is a way to enable them?
I also didn't understand the OP's requirement, but much less I understand Microsoft's practice of changing access to useful features and creating confusion. My Home version has easily accessible facilities in the Settings for changing the size of letters in many situations, though apparently not in all. If MS want something to do, they should improve functionality of the above, not mess it up.
