1/ In this specific PE, WinXShell is used only to enable some wi-fi settings. It doesn't have settings for the titlebar color at all. (It can change taskbar color but it's overriden by other programs if installed) Also, DWM is loaded in all Strelec's PEs. If it was not, there will be no themes support and no colors customization at all! Titlebar color customization here is handled by ExplorerPatcher settings, which is disabling DWM default registry entries. 2/ The splash screen is located in "\SSTR\strelec11x64Eng.wim\Windows\System32\strelecPE.exe". (same goes for \SSTR\strelec10x64Eng.wim) To disable it, open "\SSTR\strelec11x64Eng.wim\Windows\System32\Pecmd.ini" and modify the folowing line: EXEC %windir%\system32\strelecPE.exe to //EXEC %windir%\system32\strelecPE.exe (no need to delete the entire line or the executable itself. With the double slash "//" Pecmd will ignore it).
been using strelecpe for quite some time. how to map network drive and running programs from mapped drive at first boot?

Because some older, still functional machines have a hard time booting 10. Sometimes you don't have the opportunity to pull the ancient mechanical hard drive(which is somehow still working) and hook it up to a modern machines and make it ezpz, and the hardware you have to deal with is Pentium 4 era or older. W8 Native does a good job there.

Is it possible to reorder the submenu items? I've used Minst and reorder the sub menu items, save the changes but on reboot the change does not take effect. Am I missing something?
Hi. I just updated my Strelec USB from 2025 with version 2026.04.14, and now it cannot boot Acronis tools (ADD12 or ATI2024) with secure boot enabled (all in GRUB mode). Previously it was working fine, but now it shows a shim error after selecting any of those items in the menu. Does anybody know what has changed in Strelec's last versions for this to happen? Any secure boot certificate difference in the boot loader that makes it incompatible to chain boot old Acronis tools? By the way, those tools boot correctly when booted directly from a USB. Regards. Edit: I just found out that the old version fails to boot at all with secure mode on in GRUB mode. So it is that Microsoft updated the DBX database in my BIOS and included some signatures. It seems that the older Strelec versions used one of those GRUB bootloaders that were signed with compromised keys.
You mean you booted into Sergei Strelec's PE and then used Minst to reorder? Everything you do in PE is discarded after reboot because it's run from RAM. To make changes permanent you have to modify the WIM file.
