    Managed to get it downloaded, but it's still f**ked. BCD error when trying to boot the installer.

    yes both works with retail and VL

    if you install volume version => ready for kms activation

    retail version activate with MSDM key alias Slic key

    both version work with retail or kms

    activate with kms_vl_all

    The Preview is just MSFT playing dumb till they have all ready for official release, Preview in this case is not like insider preview, it's just 20348.1 and the new refresh ISOs are 20348.169, just updated with SSU/LCU nothing else.
