I believe Windows 10 LTSC gets support up until 2029 if I remember right. Myself I'm using Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC v1809. Might switch over to Windows Server 2022 LTSC later on.

Enterprise and Server 2019 LTSC will be supported till 2029, MSFT changed that policy for 2022 to 5 years, except for iotenterprise ltsc, iirc.

Where is Datacenter: Azure Edition? On installation disc there are only Standard and Datacenter editions.

    Hello ,
Someone make a test for "Spin Down HDD" with final iso of 2022 ? It's work with 2012R2 and 2016. Not work with 2019. I hope it's now resolved with 2022.

Is Windows Server 2022 based on Windows 10 or Windows 11?

I have seen posts that it is based on Windows 20 21H2, but that version is still in preview? Yet Server 2022 is out?

But next LTSC is not due to October. If they are based on same thing, why not Enterprise LTSC out now?

Or is Server 2022 really based on different branch and not follow the WIN10 releases?

next Win10 LTSC is 19044 (fake 19041 version)

Maybe the next Windows 10 regular half year release 21H2 will be based there?

@abbodi1406 has already explained in the post you quoted that the 21H2 version of Windows 10 is 19044.
It is already in preview, I have been running the regular version (not LTSC) for few weeks, there is nothing hidden or unknown here. There is an LTSC 19044 too.

I thought he meant Windows 10 Enteprise LTSC 2022 will be 19044, not the SAC version. You answered my question about SAC though which will also be 19044

I reply to myself , Spindown work on my unraid server (Old i7 4790k/Z97 motherboard) after some tweak :
    • Keep AHCI original drivers
    • Remove Features : System Data Archiver
    • Disable on GPO : "Allow Diagnostic Data"
    • Disable task on task scheduler : Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser
    • Disable following services :
      • Diagnostic Policy Service
      • Sensor Data Service
