Thanks for the intel. I have been using 20348.169, and slip streaming the update. Will try to windows update (again) my box and try to install again sql server, but nevertheless I don't feel confident, as when things like this happen, it gives to me the impression that the OS is not ripe still for production, but of course, this is a very personal impression. ----- Edited later ;-) ---- I just had the box updated, with windows update, to 20348.202, and SQL Server 2019 install worked seamlessly (slipstreamed). Just wanted to give some intel about this.
Just dumped a SLIC 2.6 table from a Dell PowerEdge R940 so hopefully OEM keys leak soon for SLP activation. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/oa-2-x-slic-oemcert-collection.5952/page-90#post-1687686
@Exe Csrss If the computer has an older SLIC tablet in BIOS or UEFI firmware, is it then possible to activate Server 2022 with your script?
Sorry, haven't tested on Hyper-V But works perfectly on VMware and most real hardware. If you have an incomplete or an old SLIC (lesser version than 2.6) then it will not work. But if you have a SLIC 2.6 or no SLIC it should work.
I ran the DataCenter key through KeyInfo64, this is guaranteed a generated key (secret = 1fffffffffff) the Standard key looks better in that perspective, except maybe for the KeyId (20000) Both should not give problems with activation though (OEM:SLP = Offline Activation)
Hello guys, sorry for my noob question but I have a system with Windows Server 2019 Standard GUI (i7-8700 Z370 Motherboard) activated with KMS_VL_ALL. I want to install the new version, Windows Server 2022 20348.169 GUI (its the stable version?) Standard, all I need to do is install the ISO which have all versions "pt-br_windows_server_2022_x64_dvd_b873861f.iso" selecting Standard and them use KMS_VL_ALL to activate? Thanks!
