I have now tried that new version client 14.4 with Windows 10 Enterprise and same result. Even with the setting Block traffic and ASK for permission, it never asks for permission! Everything get thru. I hope somebody here can help. With my Win7 everything worked as it should. .Since I use the Windows 10, this does not work anymore. The firewall is the last line of defence and if that blocking does not work.... what does... Really hoping to get some info how to solve it. When I search online it only brings up... apps are blocked as a problem. But never they are NOT blocked problem. Thanks in advance.

This is interesting. At least somebody uses the same ASK before allowing to access... option! As for me, on Windows 10, this is almost NOT working! I tried now versions of 14.3 RU8, 9,10 and even the latest 14.4 and none work to ALWAYS ask! Sometimes they do, but important things, like Browsers or FTP clients are not ASKED anymore. No idea how to fix this. Btw, in 14.3 RU8, the Firewall does not even work. Always gives error not working/installed. So I cannot actually try RU8 with my Win10. Any help will be very appreciated.
Hi, how is that version working on Win10 for you? For me it's not. The rule for firewall, ASK before ... is not followed with everything as in Win7. Some .exe connections just slip thru without SEP asking anything.
I'm waiting for the Spanish version to be released, or perhaps, like they did with the previous version, to upload all languages and versions for each system; it was a complete success.
A QUESTION: Is this forum now only for 'requests'? I would need at least some info if all the people here that use whatever language, sep, and Windows 10, have a correct working sep. What I mean again, no version on here worked with my win10 and the option for the firewall so ASK before allowing traffic !!! Anybody have had the same problem and fixed it somehow??? I would appreciate some input so I can find a solution. I even tried different Win10 versions, up to H2 and all show the same problem. I cannot trust sep with Really Asking... if that only happens for 'some' apps and not always. I use sep for decades now, norton, sep. and always could reply that the ASK worked flawlessly. Just with Win10 it does not, at least for me. Thank you in advance.
But Windows 10 is already out of support. It's no longer supported. Currently, you can only get official support for Windows 11. Contact official Microsoft and Broadcom support and ask them your question.
There is no new version for macOS and there probably never will be. It used to be a customized version of Norton Antivirus for macOS, and since Norton no longer exists, Symantec is no longer available for macOS either.

Hiya mtwei Not completely true (undercommunacated if you like), CleanWipe will clean everything, you should use latest included in the "full" binary! It's why CleanWipe is available as a tool. Broadcom Support do not advice because they can't find anything, hence, they can't support if CleanWipe was used. Me as an anal person (sorry about that btw ), the signed binary is much more appreciated. @TheViking99 Interesting, I like to look at it. Never used a "ask" option, was not aware it was an option btw. Kindly post, and I did read backwards the question and following postings, your setup and all tools added. If any personal info/cracks etc, you may add it to a convo to me. No problem. The way I understand it so far (and i'm not to bright so be kind to me ), it may not be an easy task (not affiliated with Broadcom btw) but it would be nice to have a starting point. Screenshots, logs, apps you like to control etc, etc... My PM is open btw.
@Sajjo This is just a reminder to him. We are unclear about the detailed process. What version of Clean Wipe is he using? Is it the latest? Is it official with the signed binary? There are too many unofficial versions on the forum. The official English/Russian Full Installation version of SEP 14.4.115.0000 has already been available online.
