Can someone please provide a link to the full English version (the manager install) for 14.3.8259.5000, not just the client installer?
Just an FYI, this installer is not like the previous one's. It just upgrades what you already have installed without and option to change anything. This is fine but different. Now, I did not do a clean install so I don't know what it will do then. It also saved all my exceptions so that was a plus. OSS
A quick fix for the no install options can be obtained by the following: 1) Create a copy of the original "Setup.ini" file 2) Edit the original by removing the following: "/qb!" in the "CmdLine" line Change this: CmdLine=/qb! /l*v "%TEMP%\SEP_INST.LOG" To this: CmdLine=/l*v "%TEMP%\SEP_INST.LOG" 3) Save & exit 4) Run Setup and you will see the original GUI installer routine with Client choice and Custom Setup OSS
14.3RU5_8259---Yes it asks for a client Password when you try and use window's to uninstall it, but clean wipe will uninstall it without the password
elsewhere it was mentioned that "Symantec" used to be the password back in the day. anyone to verify if it's still valid? or maybe "Broadcom" nowadays??
I didn't try any password to uninstall, but I see one of Symantec's rar files named "SaNet.st". Has anyone tried this password or similar? sanet.me? sanet.st?
This is not a clean installer. The files came from a Chinese forum and it is not sure what has been changed. Password was added by whoever did the installer not Symantec
Thats the reason in readme files they say to clean install and update dosent work, because if you update will receive an error because the file was modified. Avoid last 2 updates from chinese forums.
