I'm with Daz, really after I found QBitorrent I'm very happy no issues, no bloatware, and principaly free
Well, hard to say no to this beautiful client, it's working flawless, fast, unstoppable and it's a lightweight champion, I'm happy. @Daz , thanks for your concern but actually I sandboxed (Sandboxie) µTorrent 2.2.1 portable to protect my machine 100%:
Switched from uTorrent to qBittorrent about a year ago, much better client, uTorrent has had it's day, now full of ads and bloat, and last time I checked it tried installing some PUP during install, OpenCandy or something
I have used 2.2.1 for many years, but is stARted showing strange habits, so I also changed to Tixati. Works fine. Since you know that one well, one question: When it is working, and I click on the page where is shows the details of the connected peers..... from qtorrent, I am used to seeing one vertical line telling me how many % of that file each peer has. How do I see that at Tixati?
Im using utorrent 3.1.3 when installing new os im putting it in C:\Program Files (x86)\uTorrent folder and it skip the installation, it just go directly the first run screen
hummm, there should be a way to change its useragent to one of utorrent. Edit: yep, i confirm this can be changed in SessionSettings.cpp replace : with And replace also the PEERID here : with Well, you need to recompile now But all trackers will see picotorrent as utorrent 2.2.1
in Picotorrent 0.5 they added an advanced tab in the preference which was allowing you to enable/disable the picotorrent peerid, but they removed it later.
So without the advanced tab then picotorrent can't be converted to show torrents as utorrent 2.2.1 right?
