Taser mentioned Azureus Azureus is now called Vuze, but you still run it by running Azureus.exe etc, lol.
I hate when both BitTorrent and uTorrent update themselves automatically [although i have that option unchecked in the settings window] and the settings are all wiped out. First i was using BitTorrent and then uTorrent but it's all the same. Both get updated automatically [although i have that option unchecked in the settings window] Every time they update themselves i lose all the settings and I have to do it all over again. Hate that.
Vuze was the fastest but since the last update I can't connect to many seeds and get faster dl speeds with utorrent, but I don't use torrents much anymore (my hdd is almost full...)
I just downloaded this and have had no bad experience with it. certainly not simple as utorren UI wise but certainly for the more savvy torrent user.
I'm also new to Tixati, been using it for about 3 weeks now. I like it better than utorrent, I don't miss any of its features. And I actually got a slight increase in speed also (might be because I got the configuration right this time, don't know). Overall I'm very happy with it. Clean, simple, doing its job, like the old utorrent.
I'm looking for a good free torrent client that has nested labels. You know, you create a label for pr0n, then inside it you put a sub-label for "Tawny Roberts," you create a label for TV and then put a sub-label for "Star Trek," etc. Anyone know of such a critter?
i have a computer that has proxy settings on firefox 19x.1x8.xxx.253 like that i did try to connect utorrent it says no incoming connection further i run it portable mode how can i configure u torrent to get utorrrent running further i don;t have administer rights i try to add proxy setting to utorrent but without success please help me
thanks for your suggestion but as i said earlier i don't have admin rights so i think i need to specify ports am i right please guide me to do this
Normally no, you don't need to specify ports in uTorrent, it will be done by the apps automatically. Just install uTortrent and give it a few minutes for to adjust itself.
Interesting to see that nobody is using MediaGet 2 for Torrent's, Movies, Music etc.! I use that Russian Apps and it's working better that uTorrent for me. As FTP I use 3DFTP for some years because it also has an build in Accelerator and Resume function, which is quite important (for me)!
