BitComet is the best, no spyware or malware also you have control over all settings and options.

Would not use anything else, since the good old eDonkey network was officially discontinued on September 28th, 2005.

I have been using BitComet ever since the eDonkey network closed down and its clean and easy.

BitComet has not been updated since December 31st, 2013 because its perfect.

I prefer converts sensible torrents into UpToBox direct links :tea:

Now, µTorrent is mining bitcoins, so I use a modded µTorrent 2.2.1 client.

Linux:Transmission. Win:Qbittorrent, Free download manager! It is simple matter of taste. ;)

    Hi everyone,
I wonder if there is a plugin or a modded BitTorrent client to compress "in the air" (like NTFS compression is) the data before being transferred on the BitTorrent network.
This concept would be very interesting with everything but not multimedia torrents. So, if a whole torrent of 6 GB, weighing only 3 GB when compressed, was shared via the network, only 3 GB of transfer would be enough so that the leecher receives all of the torrent (6 GB).
I know that we can share a compressed archive, but that is not the point. I don't want to create an archive.

    Thanks to you!

Utorrent is now bloated unfortunately, qbitorrent is similar to the earlier version of UTorrent and works fine ;)

Bitcomet, using it since 2009. Preferred torrent over others, stable and feature rich.

Frankly transmission's download speeds amazed me.
