Maybe Gorhill will go back to supporting the XUL browsers again.

    AdGuard for Windows.
It blocks ads at network protocols level so they never reach any browser.

Thanks Mr X and Tiger-1 for this recommendation about Adgaurd. I've never had a chance to check that one out, I also do not use Google's Chrome browser either, but there are many that like this browser which is provided by an advertising corporation

Yes and I think this is the best solution so far although not easy to setup a config like this, at least not easy for me.

Ah it's pretty simple, just write a Rasp Pi OS image to an SDCard like you would a Windows ISO, stick it in a Rasp Pi, boot it up, open Terminal and copy/paste one line from the PiHole website, that will install PiHole on the Rasp Pi, once you've gone through some fairly basic settings you just point your router's DNS to the IP of the Rasp Pi and you're done

Can likely be done on any Linux box not just a Rasp Pi

Whitelist and Blacklist are your friends, and mass blocklists can be added via settings, you can also use it as your DHCP server if you want to disable that in the router

If something stops working, check the query list page and see what the latest block was, chances are it was that and you can just hit "Whitelist" to allow it

I'm sorry, but what do you use or recommend? I personally do not know of any other browser that runs on Windows.
