yep dude, very strange again I want that you solve this problem fast yet this distro no come with unity 8 only for v.16.10
@Tiger-1 Thanks dude, but I never wanted to use Ubuntu 16.04 for real anyways. I just wanted to play around with the comming base of Mint 18.
Can't get the point in all these flat desktop styles, looks like a time jump back to the 80's. It's like with the 70's fashion style, never was - never will be good looking.
Kubuntu 16.04 looks nice, and one advantage of Plasma 5 is that bluetooth works for my Logitech MX Master. Unfortunately, the developers decided to removed the feature that allowed different widgets (and wallpapers) for each virtual desktop, because it was too much work or something. That was one of the main (okay, honestly, the only) draws for me to go the KDE route. There's been a big enough ruckus about it that the developers are saying they will bring it back, through a different method, I suppose. Until that happens, I am going to stick to Plasma 4.x.
I think that is a compatibility issue with widgets they were trying to avoid, if I remember correctly.
ok I know about Gnome of course and also for advantages of Builds LTS so I only updated news in the same form that I and vanelle talked about changes of Windows Enterprise LTSB now LTSC some days ago right
Nothing new really, few years back running certain Mac OS X on Dell machines also was resetting BIOS to defaults on each boot While it should not happen in ideal world, software is full of bugs and the number of possible combinations of versions with models available is probably more than lottery numbers, so it simply is not possible not have all permutations tested before release.
