No one has given up anything . As said not much to do hence we did something right with the separate Dump API which is the only thing atm that needs updates occasionally.
With these filenames it works perfect. But first time I tried uupdownloader.exe (renamed beta4) and created uupdownloader.ini several times and the download runs always at maximal speed :-( Edit: Sorry I made a typo. Excuse me.
By using the UUP download options of this thread (home, pro (+N)) or the MVS/Techbench iso's by this tool.
Sorry if I'm being too detailist: Comparing the results from beta4 vs beta5 I found a 1.316864 Mb difference on the final ISO. Is it that something important or to worry about?
UUP dump downloader code that I'm changing does not create ISO files. Converter has not been changed since UUP downloader 0.1.0-alpha, so I'm not sure what is cause.
I tried uupdownloader_1.0.0-beta.4.exe and it works fine. Very nice program, thanks. The only problem I found is a very small one that probably doesn't affect many people -- If you run the program on Windows 7 it can download the files but cannot create .ISO because the Windows 7 version of DISM uses different commands from Windows 10.
Dunno if this tool supports it, but several MDL tools do work fine on Windows 7 if you install the ADK (Deployment tools) from Windows 10.
Converter used in UUP dump downloader is created by @abbodi1406, so having Windows 10 ADK installed also will allow proper creation of ISO on Windows 7/8.1
Because UUP dump downloader 1.0.0 has been released a feature requests for next version can now be made. If you have any ideas that may make the application even better and are possible to implement (so no requests for the converter), then post them.
