[DISCUSSION] UUP dump - download Windows 10/11 UUPs with ease

Iirc i have asked him in the past to be able to change the order of the indexes.

 

Changing order means more processing/exporting time

what order exactly? alphabetical?

 

It's such a pointless request if it's for cosmetic reasons or even automation, as all tools can deal with windows images both by index and by name,
no way is worth the extra processing.

Yes, it is pointless. It's just cosmetic, and i like to order on my way.

I had stated that I wanted it alphabetically or original. But that information has become meaningless. I meant that I wanted to make it look like the original sequence.

I am studying the code and placing the order of processes to order the editions to my liking. It will not change the number of processes, it will not increase the time to carry out the work, only the order.

The current Order is:

Since the "Home" and "Pro" Editions are created right at the beginning of the process and will not leave the "1" and "2" positions, respectively, I would like the sequence to look like this:

Just manually export the indexes to a new instal.wim/esd in whatever order you want, AFTER the project finishes.

 

FYI, Professional Education is based on Pro, while Education is based on Enterprise.
So Professional Education is actually a downgrade from Education, so it makes more sense to switch the two Education editions in your list

 

Now it's ready, as I want. I already modified the file.

 

I always sort indexes, but only for permanent images (non-Insider builds). Using an old tool from doggie for that task.

I only got the S-M-R-T JATDevice MkIII v1.04.01.

 

Since s1ave77 left MDL and put in the HWID tool inside his main tool, it's not allowed to link at the tools.

It's just one line to run for every export you want to do:

dism /Export-Image /SourceImageFile:"x:\install.wim" /SourceIndex:1 /DestinationImageFile:"y:\install.wim" /Compress:max

Source index is the index you want to export. You can create a list in the desired order and just copy paste the lines of commands in an elevated cmd and it will run.

 

I collect all the latest versions of these deprecated tools. But OK. Understood. Thnx!

 

Today I downloaded latest feature update for 20H2 19042.538. And there is also a "Windows 10 Team" Os. So I tried to install, but it seems that there is missing the "license agreement" just for this version. Is there a way to fix it?

 

It needs the key from the product.ini file.

 

I took a look into product.ini file and there is still no key for Windows 10 Team. But my AIO downloaded from UUP Dump website came with this version. So, must wait until a key is out.
