Hello, I request help. I'm not sure if this is where to report a bug or something weird that happens to me. With win10 19045.1889 In the installation process of windows 10 professional that includes education and enterprise editions, the option to choose edition does not appear, but it appears after choosing language, the next thing that appears is "install now" (the next thing should be choose edition) , and then appears "accept license terms" and then select type of installation. the iso is downloaded from uupdump.net and burned with rufus v3.20 and 3.18 software on 32 gb usb (several times) the iso is: 19045.1889.220803-1722.22H2_RELEASE_SVC_PROD1_CLIENTMULTI_X64FRE_ES-ES.ISO I think the normal process is: 1 choose language 2 install now 3 select edition type (pro/edu/enterp...) 4 accept license 5 select installation type (install windows only/update windows) 6 select drive to install windows what I get is: 1 choose language 2 install now 3 accept license 4 select installation type (install windows only / update windows) 5 select drive to install windows In short: the option to select the type of edition does not appear But if I use the iso in virtualbox there is no problem(!). It seems to happen with usb. Greetings and thanks.
Based on your description, might be an issue with "burning" the iso to usb, in which case you might suspect something with Rufus.
I was starting to suspect that, and tried an older version, but the same result. I have put the ei.cfg and it works, that was it.
I'm not sure this is the right thread for this... When running the Pro script (19044.1947_amd64_en-us_professional_feae9ba0_convert.zip) from UUPDump, the final Winre.wim does not appear to contain the latest EP and LCU. Just the SSD and latest SafeOS updates are added. <<<<Even when the following switch is set>>>> :: Change to 1 to force updating winre.wim with Cumulative Update even if SafeOS update detected set LCUwinre=1 <---This does not appear to force-update the Winre with the EP or LCU. One can watch the script add the EP and LCU to the Winre.wim, but the EP and LCU do not appear in the final Winre.wim package list, when the final Winre.wim is mounted, and the package list is displayed.
@donmiller did you change the option in ConvertConfig.ini? it seems to be working fine: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-10-hotfix-repository.57050/page-699#post-1749675
No, I changed the set command in convert-UUP.cmd. I will make the change in ConvertConfig.ini and run convert-UUP.cmd script again. Thanks.
After the option was changed in ConvertConfig.ini, the script worked fine. However, when you boot to the recovery partition with the Winre installed, it reports the Windows version is 19041.1947 instead of 19044.1947. Even with the EP installed in the Winre, the edition number is 19041. But this is not a big deal, because the recovery partition boots fine. Thanks again.
The options in the cmd files will only apply if there is no ConvertConfig.ini file at all. It's there in case you need to deal with scenarios where the script can only be standalone, without the .ini file.
It's been a while since I tried to get an ISO from UUPDUMP. But, I get the following message in the Windows Security notification. Unapproved changes have been blocked. DismHost.exe cannot modify memory due to folder access control. UUPDUMP was able to complete the ISO with no errors. (Complete operation to the end.) Is the resulting ISO created correctly ? '------------------------------------------ I was able to resolve the issue myself. I reviewed the defender settings.
@luzea , Why is the update ID no longer displayed on the general page of the UUP dump? Update IDs are always a good way to retrieve.
They don't provide any benefits, because you rarely need them. Click on the build and get it's UUID from the URL.
