This may have been discussed before, but I'll ask it again. After I download and save this file so I can create an up-to-date install disc for Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, I extract its contents into an empty folder. After I deploy the windows command file to start the update integration process, a window appears with an error message in bright red text. This happens when I deploy it in Windows 7, but doesn't happen in Windows 10. Am I correct in assuming this package isn't supported for use in Windows 7?
The site warns about using at least Win 10 2004 when dealing with W11 images, but is possible that the requirement is extended to the latest W10 builds as well. @abbodi1406 will be surely more informed about that matter.
@CaptainSpeleo Windows 7 powershell / .NET 4.x must be updated to support TLS 1.2 so it can download required binaries from github alternatively, you can download them manually https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1767162/ or use uupdump app / local server https://forums.mydigitallife.net/goto/post?id=1776056#post-1776056 and if updating install.wim failed on Win7, you need to switch to External updates mode (AddUpdates=2)
That's all too complicated for me. I'll continuing using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit like I have several times before. Thanks for the replies.
edit ConvertConfig.ini and set vDeleteSource=1, Pro edition will be deleted p.s. make sure config is not overwritten by downloader script
oh boy, now we need to add 22624.1 build checker in uupdump-get-fileinfo+packs.cmd instead of 22623.1 but it works fine for now with current values 22624.1 on Beta channel gets this set of builds: 19041.671|arm64|bb005836-5ddf-4d7d-b604-091776cf554a|Update for Windows Feature Experience Pack for Windows 10 Version 20H2 (19041.671) 19041.671|amd64|5f507a91-c9c7-455f-9cf6-36631420125c|Update for Windows Feature Experience Pack for Windows 10 Version 20H2 (19041.671) 19041.671|x86|a1f0ec95-60f2-473a-90d9-8de2485b49b3|Update for Windows Feature Experience Pack for Windows 10 Version 20H2 (19041.671) 1023.201.1012.0|arm64|ccae0319-a2d1-45b3-871c-0a388f2ef53b|Update Stack Package - (Version 1023.201.1012.0) 1023.201.1012.0|amd64|98dd1503-50f9-4862-860d-65870095c876|Update Stack Package - (Version 1023.201.1012.0) 22624.1391|arm64|47a89605-13e9-4ae6-9bb9-644cd3f33588|Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22624.1391 (ni_release) 22624.1391|amd64|7231ca3d-3c62-4f87-b875-33275f58c980|Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22624.1391 (ni_release)
Well, when you add 22624 to the fetch script, you can also add 22625, 22626, preparing for future although according to most news, 22H2 will just get 3 Moments update
sure, but I'm fine with 22623.1 in that script for now so what we are gonna do another two years? bugfixes and security updates only sounds very boring or they are going to release new build in two years despite of 3 year dev cycle, but it's kinda odd edit: looks like 3 year cycle is for Windows version, not build https://forums.mydigitallife.net/posts/1779526
I guess we will get Windows 11 23H2 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/windows-11-ltsc-infos-and-23h2-build.86596/
added JSON API to this thing, run uupdump-run-apache.cmd once for symlinks creation, then you can use Apache as service if you wish I have no experience with Apache so if anyone want to test it I would like to get a feedback about current configuration, I'm pretty sure I've messed something up
Hello, the site is down again. I can’t open the website and download UUPs again. Can I get info on when will the issue be fixed? Thanks.
