Error code is obvious, msft servers are unstable Use vpn (if local version) or wait, or try a lot of times
Been using via the website. Has been fine, just lately, given above. Usually I run it on a 10 notebook while working on my main. Maybe as I am in UK? So, perhaps a VPN somehow is needed, maybe for US? Not quite sure if that is what I need to do to fix it... If a VPN, which is a recommended one? Could it be the time I use it? Ie more demand at certain times? Thanks...
VPN is only for local version all requests to WU from the website go through uupdump.net server, you can't control that
What I have done is triple the requests, i. e. when updating the database, each item will be requested three times. All three requests would have to fail for the whole item to be skipped, which has yet to occur.
Nope. In the uupdump-aio.cmd file, starting with line 285, there is the update code with a lot of "call" lines. I took each of the lines and tripled it.
Sure, but your mileage will probably vary. Maybe you'll be getting away with two instances of each, or you'll need more for very flaky connections.
>File upload. I am currently trying your script with light mode... See what happens... Running the script on my notebook while working (may as well utilise the time). Can connect to it via UltraVNC... Want to find out if my main PC below has been barred from installing 27xxx.xxxx... It works fine on current build, with a few tweaks... Updates are turned off atm.
