I think you could do a sfc /scannow to check your system integrity and then retry your UUP conversion
I executed the sfc command, but it didn't work. I'll leave it for now. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice.
I'd use the official media creation toll and use that image to perform a fresh install. There is something very wrong with your current setup.
Another tool to fail? He can just download the MVS ISO for his build and perform an inplace/repair upgrade, if that doesn't help then maybe a clean install will be better.
True. His install does seem totally bricked. A pre-made ISO and a fresh install is probably the only way forward for him.
Hi If I don’t want certain packages in the final ISO (Hello-Face,QuickAssist,Printing), should I remove the unnecessary packages from the install.wim using DISM, or delete them from the UUPs folder before running convert-UUP.cmd?
Finally solved the case, and it turned out to be a problem with the security software. The access denial was caused by a security software I was using called Huorong Security. At first, I only tried exiting the software or adding it to the whitelist, but that didn't work. Today I tried uninstalling it, and as a result, the DISM command was able to mount successfully, and the UUPDUMP script executed smoothly.
I need 28000.1340 x64 IT-IT Enterprise ISO to recover from a system failure. I've tried the uup dump but, when executing, the script I get: Verifying aria2c.exe... Ready. Unable to retrieve data from Windows Update servers. Reason: EMPTY_FILELIST If this problem persists, most likely the set you are attempting to download was removed from Windows Update servers. Can somebody help me? I don't want to format and reinstall everything.
Unfortunately I need to fix by dism my current version before trying to upgrade. Tried to upgrade directly and I get a 0xC1900101 - 0x30018 error, i.e. driver unloaded without cancelling pending operations. If anybody has a mirror of it or another solution is more than welcome.
There is also the possibility to use local source for DISM repair but, as I told, I need the image for my current build.
Trying to upgrade? Using a higher delta build of the same major build is not upgrading. Might be better to recover from the recommended backup.
