A few pages back you requested auto update. @s1ave77 obliged but satisfied everyone with it being an option. Post. Just edit the variable (shown in his post) to 1 if you want the script to auto check when you run it. Or to do it manually, use [P] - all covered over last couple of pages friend. Post showing auto update working and then starting new version. Edit: Fixed typo and bum link.
Why is your folder name "uupdl" and not as @s1ave77 distributes it uupdl.vx.xx.xx ? Does that make any difference? I've always left as was and encountered no problems updating. Edit: Can't reproduce that update problem. Running it in D:\Archives\Unpacks\ and downloading latest to D:\Downloads as you see below. I don't think so that folder name is important. Master folder name is to long: uupdl-master-d2af04a1830dd870cb645b232d3d5e89290c0916 when I need to specify the path.
Where did that folder name come from!? Should be uupdl.vx.xx.xx btw: You don't need to download it to the folder you're running it from. See my edit above.
@mkuba50 What path do you tell the script to download the update to? Is this problem something to do with downloading to the path it's running from? It unpacks there, starts the copy process, deletes the script and then the script isn't there to copy - something like that?
Because downloaded to folder it's running from... See edited post above, update starts, deletes script, then tries to copy script but it isn't there to copy? Dunno, not a coder?
