Method works as from version 4.2.x, if a 2.2 SLIC is used this method is backwards compatible so could be used for Server 2012, Vista and Server 2008 as well
But if you had read like suggested by others you should have known that, not even sure why i waste time answering someone as lazy as you

    Thank you!
I am not lazy, it is a problem with this important thread, all useful information must be in the head of thread.
    Perhaps the moderator will hear!

Hey guys, how do I find out the DMI values of my PC if Dmidecode isn't working for me? I'm on Win7 64bit host and a winxp guest, and both their cmd.exes are saying that they can't find dmidecode command. I downloaded it from the dmidecode website and it seems to have only installed folders as I can't find a dmidecode exe to execute, nor can I execute it from command line.

Did you get this worked out? I need the same thing.

EDIT: This worked for me running 4.2.16. I used the VBoxManage method exactly as described using the patched BIOS linked in the post. I prefer this to patching the DLL since I only need it for 1 VM.
