Posted script supports versions up to: VisualStudio "SxS\VS7" "15.0" Latest is: VisualStudio "SxS\VS7" "16.0"
Did you perhaps update the script and add those lines yourself? The link you posted is for KMS-VL-ALL-7.2RC2.7z and (based on password) is from 2018. If you download it fresh, the lines 132/133 are in the right location to put the new "VisualStudio "SxS\VS7" "16.0" code, but right now 132 is blank and 133 says ":: Get Windows OS build number"
Hello everyone! If instead of using KMS-VL-ALL, I wanted to try activating VS2019 using KMS server, how could I tell VS where to find it? For Windows you have slmgr, and cscript for Office, right? Is VS2019 using any of these? Do you need to convert it to VL first or something like that? Thanks and stay safe!
TL,DR If you only want to activate VS19, the answer was provided in post #128 by @LostED "just use the proper key." It's not likily you'll find the the key posted on this forum, but it's easy to find elsewhere. Details The missing lines I mentioned in the previously posted KMS-VL-ALL script contain the "proper key" for VS19. The KMS-VL-ALL script is not required for activation. A working KMS-VL-ALL script is possibly useful if you're installing VS on a bunch of PC's and want to automate the activating process. I think people 'like' to have a complete KMS-VL-ALL script because they 'like' the idea of an ALL-IN-ONE activation script. It might serve other purposes that I'm not aware of, but the script itself is not required to activate VS. You only need the key which you can find by doing an online search. [edited for clarity]
