Damn, Well I see, So meaning that Microsoft Office 2016 is the only supported version of Microsoft Office for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 now. Since Microsoft/Office 365 updates support is long dead for both Windows 7 & 8.1 (Office 365 Build 2002 ESU & Office 365 feature updates on NT 6.3 and maybe 6.2 too), But I'm really glad that Microsoft Office Vulnerability patches is not over on unsupported Windows OS yet! Well especially only on Office 2016.

Well not for so long unfortunately but I hope it will be long anyways.

For Office 2016, I believe they will continue at least until October 2026 to keep ESU customers/companies who are using Server 2012 and R2 covered.
After ESU ends... who knows...

or we use KB5002665

I’d like to try deploying it using Sysprep and see if the same error message appears when used KB5002665 after it’s applied.

That's only the Excel application consistently requests the ProPlusWW.msi file after the image has been applied.
