How do you unlock the taskbar in 21996??? I need two rows for my tasks and now I can't unlock to move the top of the taskbar up to accommodate the new row.
Do you think just deleting the defender directory using TI privileges / rights will stop it from working in backgroud as its services remain there plus smartscreen plus securityhealthui executables are already present there on your OS. if you used offline wim servicing method to remove defender packages via install wim tweak tool then its good to go.
Due to the frequency of Windows reinstallations, I used to think that most of the local forum members work in IT companies as system administrators.
I used to release updated windows images on TPB and most of them were AIO. AIO had a strange phenomenon where the more files you added to an install.wim, the more buggy the setup would be. Yet another reason why I worked on the diskpart/setup script. While I haven't memorized the exact commands in diskpart because I typically used the normal setup, I must have tested thousands of custom installs. Actually looking through some documentation it looks like GPT MSR partition can be as little as 16mb but for 16gb or larger drives it needs to be 128mb, so it's no wonder that I just set it at 128mb and left it at that. I'm seeing some sites recommend efi partition size of 300mb but I'm not sure why. The files literally are nowhere near that large. They only take up 28mb. Even the 100mb is giving more than enough room for a future os to hog space.
your work i loved yrs ago i downloaded yours you disappeared glad your back i ended up making my own that MDL users scoffed at Hence i don't comment here much Cheers
Turned the PC on this morning and MS Teams got installed automatically. Just a day before the event... hmmmm.
Because it does not, yet, lol. There is not even dev version. Speculations do not make something real. I am waiting for Windows 365.
Is anyone else having issues with spacing within File Explorer? I'm using "Details" as my layout and with Sunny Valley / 21996.1 / Windows 11 everything is having dead space in File Explorer making everything waste a ton of space.
but there is an iso file, that shows as windows 11 when typed winver to cmd.... microsoft doesnt create things and brand them as joke or inside developing purposes.
Control Panel / File Explorer Options / View / Decrease space (compact view) Scroll down you can change the spacing
Microsoft doesn't , but people do, sometimes nefarious people. Do we know exactly where this leaked build came from .... if not from Microsoft? I know some pretty good theme builders who could create something just like this, possible? yes, probable , not really. I for one am not going to let any operating system get intimate with the inner workings of my machine unless it comes directly from the developer. I am gonna laugh my ass off if tomorrow brings something completely different than what everyone is ogling right now
Microsft just sent DMCA notice to bringdown a website link which was sharing links to download this file ,, they wouldnt have sent legal notice to a themed one which is irrevelant to them ,,they dont care ,,Its the real deal may be with les unlocked features .....
There's also the fact Microsoft have literally shown a (reflected) image in one of the teasers for Build which shows the exact same previously unknown desktop image...
