According to the Minimum requirements, it says that the PC must support UEFI startup. If I have a PC with UEFI and BIOS support and I'm using Windows 10 in BIOS mode, will the Health App say that my pc is incompatible with Windows 11? Thanks
the health test is just BS by microsoft i have a zbook g4 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1505M v6 32gb of memory tpm 2.0 nvidia m1200 on UEFI and secure boot 2tb ssd and i do not meet the requirements????? it does not even say why , thanks microsoft
Both of my regular use VMs are under 64GB since they are for specific purposes and do not need any software installed outside of browsers. I have a VM just for surfing and a VM just for buying stuff on Amazon, both are under 60GB since huge virtual drives would be pointless.
I understand why Microsoft would want people to use TPM 2.0 (security benefits), but I feel like they made it a requirement so that they can force more annoying and stronger DRM down people's throats in the future. I also wouldn't be surprised if the 64 GB storage requirement is because of the Android support requiring much more extra space for system and data images (if Microsoft is isolating Android system and user data into individual disk images like other Android emulators do).
Latest Intel Processors provides PTT. My Asus Maximus XII Formula has an option in the BIOS to enable it, which I have. It provides the TPM. At first the Health Check said my PC did not meet requirements, made the the change in BIOS to enable PTT and changed Secure Boot from other OS to UEFI and Now Health Check says I am good for Windows 11.
