What I was trying to point out is I see comments that 21996.1 is still Win 10. Looks like 22000 is Win 11. Will find out next Thursday 24 June.
21996 is Windows 11. It's just the the branding isn't complete yet. But it should be in 22000. Man June 24 still feels like it's ages away :/
11, most likely and probably, will just be a continuation of 10, UI, feature changes and fixes like we've seen since 1507. It won't suddenly run a quantum computer or be entirely re-coded.
Call it whatever you want Windows 11 Windows 12 Windows 13 It's all on the old kernel. There is no Windows 11. You were thrown a slightly modified interface and that was the end of it.
There are many new features in this build, so it's in different league. Maybe you didn't see most of them.
This. It baffles me that people don't understand this. So many people who believe everything journalists write. Jesus christ.
I can confirm this works atleast for an upgrade from in Windows 10. I will try a clean install later on. Edit* Windows 10 ISO replaced install.wim with 11 install.wim
