rtm or not when will be available in 14393 i will do the upgrade/clean installation in the end if is not rtm i will be 1 build before the rtm 100%
My clean install doesn't show this missing updates screen, it just downloads defender definitions and then its satisfied. 1) MSMG 6.9 works well on this build, it removes all metro apps and associations, enables dotnet, integrates classic calc. (but complains a bit about missing index 2 wim) 2) Add/Remove programs is by default Metro only, and it combines classic and metro apps (uggggh), unless you launch it from cmd by typing appwiz.cpl 3) Setup looks much nicer, But has to be launched via CMD as booting only shows repair options.
win definition wtf who use defender so maybe best will be waiting for official creat update ? so now it cannot installed over 1607 ? i want only update not again clean install...
Must be because of MSFT setting up things, i didn't encounter any probs, with upgrade or clean install.
I assume post #38 is the most important one here, right? lol, as long as I don't want to wait until April 11th? Going from 14393 to 15063. Can I dirty flash this, or is the clean install the ONLY recommended method with a build so much newer than mine? I kinda curious how the upgrade looks when using voice commands.
I installed 15058 yesterday and now downloading 15063 via Windows update. But i can't find ESD in $WINDOWS.~BT, anyone know where i can find? (sorry if this have been up before, i have not been active) Thanks. Edit: i found the ESD in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\639b3411ff1d55809a42c9b5f304b986 (professionell_ESD) But it's only 445 MB
Since my clean VM install showed the same error, i tested to change time to my timezone to no avail, then i set back to Pacific time and forwarded date 1 day, now WU shows it's satisfied after downloading defender definitions . Setting it back to my german time again didn't change it.
