If all you want to do is backup and restore drive images all you need is Acronis TrueImage BootCD/BootUSB - no need to have the full thing installed. The latest BootCD image gets regularly posted at MDL somewhere doesn't it? Edit: Pretty sure this thread is kept regularly updated with links including those for the BootCD image.
Is DISM version of enhanced Disk Cleanup You can also run without /ResetBase Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup Run as CMD (Admin)
Acronis True Image 2017 BootUSC is the best thing that ever happened to me. I now have 2 full system drive backups - perfectly stable untweaked one (with all drivers and programs installed and configured), to which I can always restore if tweaking goes, the second one I call tweak-stable, where everything works, but a ton of tweaks, registry cleaning, and etc. were applied without causing harm. Now I am about to make a 3rd image called Uber-Tweaked and this one has a few things broken, but very fast and stable enough to play games. I strongly advice AGAINST ever installing Acronis True Image! It installs services and drivers that upon removal can make the OS unbootable - use ONLY bootable DVD/USB - it will also create a cleaner and more inclusive image. All those LastKnownConfig and System Restore and bla bla that Windows offers are worthless IMHO as they get broken along the way as you tweak the OS and often cannot help you boot even in Safe Mode. I WAS hoping to try the new Microsoft Image backup feature, but I am not sure its worth it...
Stupid question. Even though RS2 (Creators Update) is final, and final builds are coming out, why is Enterprise 15063 still labeled as an Insider Preview build?
Because on Techbench it's published and called that name, gezoesloog has all enterprise and education svf patches with the MSDN filenames. Adguard's Techbench Unlocked has them now filed under Final but only in the 24 Insider languages.
