Yesssss..... To run directly in cmd prompt, needs shortened runtime variable, From a long time ago...
I'm getting 'ERROR: UUP Edition file is not found in specified directory' using Abbodi1406's UUP converter when they most certainly are. Had this working before too but deleted / redownloaded from WZOR links. What am I missing that I must of done before?
I just saw the notification of this "Creator's Update" today - is there any REAL point to it? What exactly will it add to the existing PRO version? Thanks!
Whe have: original MSDN/Techbench ISO's and Official WU combined(sl)(n) AND many UUP posts, they all work. Using W.Z.T. uup post, combine en-us with main and all will work.
It will give you few new features and improved security. To find out more go to OP (first post) and have a look at What's New (PC) link.
I know it works as I made a combined EN_US before, now want to do an EN_GB but cant get beyond that error, must be some stage I've forgotten about over the last week. Bound to be simple, so frustrating.
Is there some way to upgrade my Windows 10 Pro N 1703 to just Windows 10 Pro 1703, broke some Windows Apps and some of my games due to lack of Media Feature Pack, don't want to deal with this again but don't want to lose my files either. :/
If the Media Feature pack, which will be available soon, doesn't fix you're problems i fear you have to re-install all. Next time don't try to be smart and install a broken windows (enforced by eu law) instead of just installing normal (full functioning) windows.
Someone can provide the pp_windows_10_enterprise_version_1703_updated_march_2017_x64_dvd_10196085.iso and the x86 version?
I search in the first post and it's only available the PT-br version, not the PT-PT... But it is available in MSDN page...
Is it only for me or is the update searching horrible in this update? Takes ages for searching for updates...
Weird, takes pretty long until it finds something, even when all updates are installed and when I search again, it still takes pretty long compared to previous versions. Could it be because of some blocked telemetry stuff in the HOSTS file? First time I really use the HOSTS file to block some stuff. EDIT: Tested in a fresh installed VMware with the same iso, but no tweaks/HOSTS, runs fast as normal, so I assume it has something to do with the HOSTS or any other tweak. EDIT 2: After applying ShutUp10 with recommended settings the update progress takes forever again.
I will reply to myself here: After testing around with a few tweaks and settings, I noticed it is the WAP Push service which causes the VERY VERY slow process for searching for updates. I used W10Privacy to enable/disable various tweaks and the only tweak which causes the slow searching progress was when I disabled the WAP Push service. So in comparison (I am on a fully updated 1703 Build 15063.13): WAP Push service enabled: ~23 seconds for Windows to search for updates WAP Push service disabled: ~3min 3seconds for Windows to search for updates
