hi guys.. I found that using windows powershell builtin command , you can also check the HASH of a file. Get-FileHash C:\path\to\file.iso -Algorithm SHA1 Get-FileHash C:\path\to\file.iso -Algorithm SHA256 etc.
In creators update, when the presentation mode is activated after inactivity, it will not ask for password when you exit the presentation mode even if the password is set. Anyone is facing this problem too ?
Not sure where to post this request, but... Could somebody please upload here the "Wordpad.lnk" (literally, the shortcut to Wordpad) file found in the following folder: "C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-wordpad_31bf3856ad364e35_10.0.15063.0_none_3ece526ca5b43e29" ?? For some reason sfc /scannow keeps telling me this file is corrupted, blah blah blah, store mismatch, blah blah blah, cannot repair, blah blah blah...and DISM is acting like a lobotomized sloth, it cannot RestoreHealth even when I explicitly specify a valid source. I've tried everything at this point and the only option I've left is to manually copy-paste, but for that, I need a non-corrupted Wordpad.lnk from the latest update (Ver. 1703, Build 15063.250, x64, EN-US). Thanks in advance.
Yes, I mean MTK 2.6.2. With CU its behaviour is erratic (I already posted in the appropriate thread).
Never thought about keeping a VM around (though it might be a bit overkill for one microsopic, lousy "corrupt" file). Thanks for the suggestion.
Just installed Win 15063.250 Pro x64 (HWID activated) and installed Office 2016 Pro Plus VL, used KMSpico 10.2.0 (just ran setup) and it activated just fine, next test is with MTK2.6.2 and last test is with (the one i prefer) KMS_VL_ALL v14.
I haven't exactly kicked all the tires, but I've not noticed anything extremely negative about this build. Occasionally OneDrive tries to nag me to log on, but that's about it.
