Hi Friends, I have some questions about the new Windows 10.0.15063.0 Version 1703 RS2: 1. I have the following file 15063.0.170317-1834.rs2_release_CLIENTCORE_RET_x64fre_en-us.esd...Does it have the Windows 10 Pro inside the file? 2. Is it the Windows 10 Pro RTM version? 3. Can I do a clean installation with this file and I should not worry about the version in April 11 from Microsoft? 4. What else do you recommend to have the new Windows 10 Creators in my PC? Thanks in advanced for your help. TecMan
At least there should be a CU next week because the Start Menu is having so many bugs I never encountered in any previous builds.
Hi Enthousiast: Thanks for your reply...and let me ask you more questions: 1. Is 15063.0.170317-1834.rs2_release_CLIENTPRO_RET_x64fre_en-us.esd file for Windows 10 Pro Creators? 2. Do you recommend me a clean installation or update the current Windows 10 Pro? Thanks TecMan
Yes, that's the correct one for Pro. Upgrade or clean install, depends on what you want, backup, clean install and reinstall all apps, etcetc, or upgrade and take the risk of taking old trouble to the new build.
ok man thx i think rtm is too this build + culimative update at official release day do you think the same ?
It doesn't matter, what word you will use. Point is, that 15063 will be updated by KBs, while with 15061 you will be just f***ed. That difference I personally call "RTM". ))
And for the millionth time, just because they don't call it RTM anymore doesn't mean there is no RTM anymore. They still need to declare and sign off ONE BUILD as final because that is what will ultimately get released to the general public and be serviced with updates, and be used by OEMs for pre-loading on new hardware. And that used to be called "RTM".
