Very strange indeed. Don't know why mine is shaded out. If anyone knows the Group Policy or registry area for this please let me know. Thanks guys.
I have the same problem since the last cumulative update, the only solution is to get the most recent definitions from the Microsoft page, several people have the same problem because of this cumulative, is fixed until a new update of Defender appears in Windows Update and Yes, I have tried all the methods and the problem is not fixed, I think it has to do with the second bug corrected by that cumulative update.
Rubbish. MS are already providing cumulative updates for build 15063, which means it IS the RTM build (or whatever else you want to call it). As for the bugs, I've updated and clean installed several machines and it's running perfectly on all of them.
Maybe registry tweak can fix this (I think it did it too). BTW, Disable suggested apps in Share pane not working.
Man, it run perfectly. Where I said it not run perfectly? But it contain 2 bugs. 1st bug with open defender from taskbar, 2nd bug with UI in Game Settings section. If you can't find that it does not mean it non exists. About cumulative updates... Its cumulative update for Insider Preview. Before 5 april everything is still Insider Preview. Also before 5 april there is no 100% garantee that RTM will not be rebuilded. Yes I know that its not happen in past. But everything happen first time. So for paranoid users its not recommended to update before 5 april and ISO's available from MS site (for typical users, not insiders).
15063 iso hey guys, as I'm out of touch lately... If I wanna install build 15063 _from techbench/adguard insider ISO_ on my everyday PC, do I have to join insider preview program beforehand? I'm asking this from activation perspective. Right now it's on 14393.969 Pro Dell/OEM version. Thanks in advance. Edit: I have joined insider program when it was launched, just haven't joined insider preview on this PC.
Do you happen to know where it would be located in the registry for the Show most recent apps box by chance?
Not even if you install it by using mkuba50's mdl techbench dump iso's, no you don't need to be an insider.
Are you 100% sure? As you can see defender application is now native and looks like written from scratch. I bet that they just forget handle double click and nothing more. Typical programmer mistake. This is not new behavior. This is just usual MS messaround.
