I have no idea if this is version/edition specific or not. I am trying to search in Cortana for any desktop application, which can be cmd or any other installed desktop application. The indexing works fine, the application is found, but it never launches - only for what is designated as desktop application. It is profile specific and it works on other profiles. It is NOT related to UAC or Administrator in approval mode. It started happening in the last few days and I cannot find any related pattern. Does anybody have any idea about what could have caused it or what can be done to restore the functionality? It is easy to recreate a user profile, but this is not the issue here, as it can happen again at any time in the future and the desired outcome is to understand this behaviour, what caused it and provide a reliable and reproducible solution.
Yes, for weeks and it is more pervasive on a couple of sites I regularly visit. The randomness is really annoying. ETA: It just happened to me on this site.
When i click on the star button, the start menu lags and freez..i have to wait 2-3minutes or kill Explorer.exe
Will the final version direct from Microsoft have the same SHA-1 as posted on page 1? Image: Windows10_InsiderPreview_EnterpriseVL_x64_en-us_15063,iso SHA-1: 77d5e7c91b5dbbee410fb6c57cb944238bf7176a
I have zero use for mixed reality, Holographic BS or 3D, IMHO the AU was better and after the 11th I may go back to it. This build is still buggy.
Good to know. So people who clean install 15063.0 now are good to go from now on (will only receive KB cumulative patches and drivers, like anybody else from April 11th)
Change the time of day to activate it, it seems to only be active during the night until you say otherwise.
I've reported the problem to google .. awhile ago you should do the same in about section .. only takes two mins .. meanwhile people it's Monday 11:00 MS HQ I wonder if we will get any updates..
