Interesting, on a clean install of Workstation Windows Update pulled in Nvidia driver 384.94 instead of 387.78

Thanks for the link. My WU not detecting new build and UUP dump 3.0.0-beta.5 not fully working for 16299.15
I am still not 100% sold on the idea of a 15th micro point release being the RTM, but I suspect the RTM will be patched released to insiders. By that I mean to say, I suspect on October 17 (the official general availability release day) we will get a small update and the build will change to 16300. Microsoft after all, proved they could do a small micro point release today and they, themselves said they plan on testing more updates on this build too. If on October 17, the build actually does remain 16299.15 or 16299.xx I will be a bit disappointed (not the 1st time coming from Microsoft).
Looks like the build 16299 is the final. Dona will continue releasing patches 16299.xx until the official release.
im 100 % sure this is the rtm from the time when using e-mail etc and in first log in don't ask change slow or fast ring...i mean microsoft wouldn't do mystake with this.!
I'm not in the insider program on this build so can't relate to that. But with the build without the .15 I automaticly was trown in the insider program so
I am not going to disagree, but it is not technically final until the general release on October 17. Is this build RTM ready? Yes, there is no denying that now. But is this actually going to be the build number on October 17? No one knows. We could all suddenly recieve a small 25 MB download 1 night before and that 1 single download could be simply to change the build to 16300. --- Microsoft has done crazy things before. I will wait and see, but I do not disagree that this build is RTM ready. This build clearly is RTM ready.
