Please try this: 1 - Format the USB thumbdrive FAT32 2 - Extract the iso to the root of the USB thumbdrive 3 - Try to boot from the USB thumbdrive
Okok, i will try. At the moment i working with the MSMG ToolKit. If i fail with this, i trying your idea.
Please, read the info at the OP, there are no single index ISO's anymore, only Multi Editions client and VL. Multi-VL contains all VL sku's, as posted at the OP, on techbench it's called either insiderpreview_enterprise or EDU.
ah thanks, i should have known. the "EDU" abbreviation threw me off as i thought it stood for "education". my bad
It does, but for some reason it's called EDU at techbench final and insiderpreview_enterprise at techbench insider option, but all contain all VL sku's.
Microsoft has for some reason forgot to lock down the Education edition to be key only product. 1703 Education needs a valid key to be downloaded, so 1709 one may be also after some time. EDIT: I have downloaded random Edu ISO and it's not VL. I encountered that too, the edu dutch iso also wasn't the vl iso but the client multi iso, en-US EDU iso should be correct.
Not sure where to put this but Windows Phone (7), released worldwide on October 21, 2010! 7yr ago today.
I have to report it seems i was incorrect, when i first downloaded them by tb dump the en-US edu contained all VL sku's, now the files are not the same, checking the content now. This would mean the TB Minidump doesn't offer the VL iso's? EDIT: Confirmed en-US EDU iso, on techbench final, isn't the VL iso: Code: --------------------------- Checksum information --------------------------- Name: Win10_Edu_1709_English_x64.iso Size: 4697362432 bytes (4479 MB) SHA1: 1AD928CFEF439F6AA4044DDC3A96B0B6830BDD0F --------------------------- OK --------------------------- It contains: Code: [01] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 S | Cloud [02] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 S N | CloudN [03] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Home | Core [04] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Home N | CoreN [05] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Home Single Language | CoreSingleLanguage [06] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Education | Education [07] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Education N | EducationN [08] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Pro | Professional [09] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Pro N | ProfessionalN At the insider preview part of TB Unlocked: Code: --------------------------- Checksum information --------------------------- Name: Windows10_InsiderPreviewEnterprise_x64_en-us_16299.iso Size: 4558182400 bytes (4347 MB) SHA1: 1BBF886697A485C18D70AD294A09C08CB3C064AC --------------------------- OK --------------------------- Contains: Code: [01] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Education | Education [02] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Education N | EducationN [03] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Enterprise | Enterprise [04] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Enterprise N | EnterpriseN [05] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Pro | Professional [06] 9/29/2017 en-US x64 10.0.16299.15 Windows 10 Pro N | ProfessionalN
I see. You saved me from the hassle of downloading the Insider ISO. Code: 1bbf886697a485c18d70ad294a09c08cb3c064ac *en_windows_10_multi-edition_vl_version_1709_updated_sept_2017_x64_dvd_100090741.iso
I've had no problems using MSMG to create the iso and then use rufus to make the usb drive. You could also try to use MSMG to intergrate the .19 update.
