Hello. I've tried today to build an iso image starting from amd64_en_us.zip using Pro version. I got exactly the same error as ImpetuousRacer encountered. Any idea what to do? Thanks in advance!
Removing all provisioned app packages (using DISM) except for the Store/Store purchase app from the install.wim seems to break the Store. It looks like the in-built Store app is an older version which has a package dependency on the .NET Native runtime v1.4. That in itself wouldn't be a problem, but the thing is: if I remove another provisioned app that has the same dependency (like the Messaging app, for example), the respective framework package is removed from the image (whether there exist other apps that depend on it or not), and now the Store fails to load. It doesn't seem to be a DISM-related problem, I tried maintaining the image with the 15063.0 version (which worked for the Creators Update in this scenario just fine) but the issue remains. Right now, I did a workaround by keeping all the provisioned apps that depend on the v1.4 version of the .NET Native runtime, and remove the provisioned apps after clean install and Store update, but that's not an ideal solution because it means unnecessary additional work and I like to keep my images clean from any junk that's not required. Any ideas, or anyone experiencing the same kind of problem?
I misread the key, it's the gVLK but there is no need for using both, a pid.txt and an ei.cfg, the pid.txt is the leading factor.
for me the result is the most important, and WIN10 ProfWorkstation is ACTIVATED I appreciate your work here, very good! I always read your post and I learned so much!
I'm on wokstation pro BTW and I have an LTSB install in the backup but I stay for now on workstation professional thx
