sorry if this question was answered already. is windows 10 enterprise now called windows clientbusiness? i don´t follow all this release stuff every day and the amount of information is just too much. i just came here to download the german 1709 enterprise version... i read that english enterprise version is in the multi ISO.... but i just want to know if this is what the enterprise versions are called now (clientbusiness).
How can I add Internet Explorer again? I configured my ISO very well but I accidentally deleted IE. How can I install it again on live system or on new homebrew?
Since insider preview 16251 ISO's the enterprise sku is on the Multi-VL iso's, on techbench dump they can be found at the Insider section as Insiderpreview_Enterprise, but the iso will contain all 6 VL SKU's (Pro (N), Education (N) and Enterprise (N). The MVS (previously known as MSDN) filenames will be: Code: 4503c9bdf6b31fb62160edc5759b1552fc8fd82e *de_windows_10_multi-edition_vl_version_1709_updated_sept_2017_x64_dvd_100090752.iso 145c8fa082385dc95f101391637d57c2ef79a0f8 *de_windows_10_multi-edition_vl_version_1709_updated_sept_2017_x86_dvd_100090765.iso
There's one thing I find puzzling about FCU, and to which I've seen no definitive explanation. This has to do with the install time. I've seen numerous posts, here and elsewhere, that the installation phase took several hours to complete; far longer than any previous release. It also did not seem to matter whether it was an upgrade or a clean install. Is this behavior by design or is it indicative of a bug in the install routine? It would be interesting to know what is going on with an installation that takes upwards of five hours to complete, but returns no errors during the process
That's good to hear, but perhaps you're an outlier? That seems super quick compared to most persons; based of course on anecdotal evidence. Obviously it has something to do with an existing configuration, but what kind of configuration would trigger that behavior is seemingly unknown. I'm thinking of upgrading, but am afraid of having my system locked up for hours; churning away endlessly
I've installed it on a lot of systems and manymanymany times in VM's, don't take anything serious out there, according to some nothing ever works.
