Online repair would be without the /Source switch. The given example needs a mounted 1607 ISO and the path adapted to that drive letter.
I did it and got some message 100 percent done. What now? I am trying to once again install from iso file.
Got the same error again. When I try to install by booting from USB, I don't get the option to upgrade, I only get an option for clean install. I am going nuts, Why is it so hard to upgrade to newer version when I already have the same OS. This is bollox. Does it not create some kind of log that could tell me what exact problem it has got?
I upgraded my Windows 7 x64 to Windows 10 v1709 yesterday using WU & Windows 10 Upgrade assistant (W10Ua). My 1st try I forgot to disable the Norton AV so while W10 was upgrading/preparing (around 1-2%) I tried... big mistake, after 6 hours & 1 hour stuck @ 99% I used task manager to shut the W10Ua down & restarted the PC. Tried again but this time I disabled Norton AV (I use it to scan the main partition OS from W7 x64) & the Dl took 9 minutes & complete install to desktop (NIC DL) took 1 hour, 38 minutes, slow but all is good after testing several apps (incl AV) & running disk cleanup (32.6 GB removed).
I don't think antivirus is causing issues in my case because I only have Windows defender running on it. No third party softwares antivirus. But I have a lot of background apps running at startup like iclod, google, chrome, IDM etc. I am not getting the error 0x80072ee7 anymore. Just this message when the installation reaches 25-35 percent when installing by mounting iso image in OS..
ah some like testing what I did in vm long time ago .. I experience that problem why not try boot from dos/bios rather than run setup.exe from mount? and upgrade from there..
Hello. Since the fall creator update release my pc sometimes reboot out nowhere with no bsod, it just reboot. The same issue happens on a fresh install of the windows FCU, on the other hand in ltsb and CU i don't have this issue. Here my specs: Computer Type: Desktop Motherboard: MSI FM2A55M-HD+ R2.0 (Latest bios) PSU: 400W Evga CPU: Apu AMD A10-7860k Memory: 2x 4GB GDDR3 2400Mhz GPU: Onboard AMD R7 Graphics VBIOS: 113-SPEC-102 Driver: 15.11.1OS: Windows 10 x64 (16299.125)
Tried a new install, but if i install FCU i got the same issue. I even download another iso. On LTSB it work without issue.
Hi Guys, I wanted to install Windows 10 with a USB stick that I created with Rufus but Secure Boot blocked the installation. It only works if I turn off Secure Boot. I chose Rufus GPT. It is the 4.7 GB MSDN ISO. What can I do.
