Can someone confirm huge CPU usage after CU_371 form "Antimalware Service Executable" ranges from 30-70% cpu usage and my windows defender is currently not scanning nothing Spoiler
Potentially the malicious software removal tool doing its thing. Let it sit and then reboot, see if this returns to normal. I have the CU on one system so far, no issues.
Yea it was it, its a laptop and normally i dont restart it. but after CU i had to, thats why it trigger the removal tool, i also noticed that everytime i rebooot the lap the removal tool kick in and scan the system it takes a few minutes to complete then i get a msg that the microsoft protection etc etcc complete a scan. not a big deal since i rarely turn off the lap normally just close the cover.
Im getting this error on Microsoft Toolkit 2.6.4: " System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0xC0020036) at System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32 errorCode, IntPtr errorInfo) at System.Management.ManagementObjectCollection.ManagementObjectEnumerator.MoveNext() at ..(String , String , , String ) at ...ctor() at ..(Object , DoWorkEventArgs )"
Will this release update to Windows 10 v1803? Or do these insider previews have a tendency to avoid the latest updates?
The thread is about the 1709 FINAL build plus the refresh releases 16299.64 and 16299.125, released originally Sept. 2017.

You can't set edition/target edition online (only some server editions can do that, from EVAL to Non EVAL), offline on a mounted wim only.
