I am trying to make an ISO from the downloaded ESD file "19042.631.201119-0144.20h2_release_svc_refresh_CLIENTBUSINESS_VOL_x64FRE_ar-sa.esd" with esd-decrypter-wimlib-56 script with elevated privileges. I placed the esd file next to the script.the script runs just for a split second and then closes automatically doing nothing. What's wrong?
Thanks, luzea. I did exactly that but I was probably not clear enough when I said "with elevated privilege". Running as administrator just closed the script instantly without doing anything.
Run command prompt as administrator then copy and paste full path to decrypt.cmd and execute it could display what's the error
I did as you said and this error message was displayed " ESD file is damaged, blocked or not found" Press 0 to exit. However, when I dragged and dropped the esd file onto the decrypt.cmd, it runs and displays these messages: Running ESD > ISO v56 Checking ESD Info... Creating Setup Media Layout.. Errors were reported during apply.. Press 0 to exit.
Frankly speaking, I didn't understood what message you are trying to convey. I was trying to upgrade my Windows 10 Pro workstation to the latest build through Windows Update. It consistently showed error "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x800703f9)". All efforts to solve this failed. So, I thought to build an ISO with latest build of Windows 10. You are also one of the busiest MDL member. Thanks for your reply. What should have been done by me to solve the problem?
The message is/was, the question is about 20H2 ESD>ISO conversion, this is the 1709 thread.
