This build works better for me then 16288.1, no issues while installing Steam anymore and it feels better overall Another way I can tell that this build is RTM is the Autounattend.xml file that I was using on RS2 which did not work on the Insider Preview Builds because there was no product key specified, I had to add a blank key for it to not show error during installation but now it works without adding it. Code: <ProductKey> <Key></Key> </ProductKey>
Why? How weird. It's so easy now, UUP's or ESD. Never ceases to amaze me how some ppl want to be spoon fed. Weird. All genuine MS files are linked, scripts to make everything easy, tools to convert etc. A few mouse clicks and anyone can make an ISO.
Why, why? You can buy milk from a shop next door or you can order it online and wait an hour till it gets delivered, being thirsty. People love to scare others with tainted ISOs, but over 20 years I have not seen nor heard about single one. It just an urban legend.
It's just not allowed on MDL, why? because one iso can be ok, but many can contain more than you want. I have seen many iso's shared on the nets which no-one should even download, let alone install
You're welcome, my pleasure. But you do not need to reformat a ReFS file system to upgrade the file system version. With ReFS, once you mount the drive as per normal, the ReFS file system version automatically upgrades. I had initially formatted my ReFS backup setup with Pro 1703. Upon plugging in the same backup drive to Pro 1709, the file system version automatically (and near immediately) upgraded the file system version.
Installed ESD > ISO working perfectly no faults so far running a few hours now on main system. Don't have apps reinstalling issue like a few been saying? Not sure if thats because i removed them differently or something (just right clicked on start menu and uninstalled / remove tile)
