Strange thing on a laptop that was updated from 1703 to 16299.15: The Power Saver and High Performance power plans are missing, only Balanced remains from the MS ones. Don't know if it had to do with more custom power plans being present due to manufacturer's soft.
I've got the same. However, a single left click of the power icon on the taskbar shows a slider now for performance or power savings settings. I'm guessing its Microsoft's way of trying to get rid of another outdated Control Panel option in preference for a new Settings interface.
Some stuff guys... 1) Disabled one drive, but still get some notifications about installing one drive. Checking with autoruns i can see on RunOnce a cmd command with name Uninstall and some parameters for OneDrive. 2) On Scheduled Tasks there are 2 powershell scripts that uninstalls SMB v1... This should have come disabled by default. 3) Is it safe to disable the OndeDrive standalone updater? I disabled onedrive but Windows likes to leave this On.
Thanks, I didn't notice it! So, on a regular laptop installation there's only the Balanced profile on the old Power Options cpl? PS: This also explained why I was having bad performance while on battery with plans that behaved faster. That slider seems permanently applied over them, and isn't at max by default.
1) Disabled by policy or OneDrive settings? IMO, it's better to delete its runonce key before it launches the first time (i.e. setup.complete.cmd) Code: reg delete HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run /v OneDriveSetup /f 2) SMB v1 client still installed in Pro and Home SKUs only https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...indows-10-releases.57062/page-74#post-1359229 3) refer to 1
I'm on 385.69 on an Nvidia GTX 1070. I was playing Overwatch this morning and it did it again. I had to Alt- tab several times before it fixed itself.
yeah. At the time of my first post I had the previous version. I just ran DDU and Installed the new one right after I replied to you. Going to test and see if the issue is gone
Issue is still there. It seems to affect games using Fullscreen. If I switch to Windowed Borderless/Fullscreen it goes away. Overwatch is the biggest culprit. I had to use Ctrl + Alt + Del to get out of it. TF2 had no issues at Fullscreen
I have the same card as you the 1070 GTX and I don't seem to have the problem here but I'm on Enterprise ! Pro sucks for me have sound problems with Pro that I don't have with Enterprise strange enough maybe you can post your problem on Guru3d forum these guys can help you I think
