I noticed this bug across several installation of RS3, launch regedit, then try to look for anything using its search tool. As the search going on, the whole system will slow down to a crawl even the mouse pointer will be choppy and the search takes forever. Boot into safe mode and this doesn't happen Can someone try searching for anything using regedit?
Not sure if this helps you, since I have tweaked Windows (basically like running a safe mode), but no problem here. I can listen to radio and watch a movie, without any lagging, and the search takes only 25% CPU, it finishes in about a minute.
All fine here too, no difference to RS2, no CPU spikes, hangs or whatever when searching the registry.

When you run the Media Creation Tool, immediately go to C: you will find 2 new folders which are created by the media creation tool. Go into them and look for products.xml then right click on it and choose edit. The version of Windows will be displayed somewhere there

What told you what was a virus? Defender? You mean downloading abbodi's converter, what link are you getting it from?
Defender yes n downloading abbodi's converter, any downloadlink Defender slows the heck out of windows i use nod32 security now all fast agian and abbodi's converter is virus free

The converter converts the ESD to ISO with all available sku's, you probably have a device with a MSDM bioskey for Cloud?
