It's the insider RTM, not the official. 17 October will be released, with all the bug fixes and goodies.
Well, since the title says "Final" I guess it is the final version. Well, I did read the title. So it isn't the final version like the title says? Ok, thanks! EDIT: I downloaded it and it says it is the 17004.1000.170922-2229 version, i.e., a different version from this thread. Weird.
I think it means the build is final, not the release. Yeah, It's a misleading title. Anyway, I don't like using non-official things. Why look for errors, right? Unless you wanna report bugs for help...
So do you think there is final version and release version ? So what the difference between final version and release version ?
RTM privileges? hahaha no well RTM there is only one and it does not change What the insiders group is testing is for Microsoft to prepare the respective error correction parchment that it will subsequently release to the official release date October 17 The official ISO file to be distributed hours before or as of October 17 contains exactly all the data that is created from the ESD file that you can download here The only difference between that ISO file that will be hosted on MSDN Subscribers is that it will be created by Microsoft and will have a specific ID for each version and language, so internally it is the same version that you convert with the Decrypter
This is the production build that Microsoft will now service with cumulative updates and fixes for the next couple of years. So, its R...T...M and sure the build that may released to GA may vary, but it would be a fix based on this build.
MDL purposely set up a fake and misleading thread title to fool ppl, what's more they asked the membership to post filling the thread - with so far 55 pages of fake and misleading posts about this being the RTM release. And then I suddenly remembered the name "Windows 10 User" and the endless endless problems posted, nothing works, most things are broken. Also remembered some posters being nearly at the stage of committing hari-kari after repeatedly answering you and your failure to read things in the past! Top tip, sometimes on a forum it's a good idea to read a few pages, particularly in new release threads, it's worth at least skimming back a good few pages to familiarise yourself.
Bug fixes, other stuff that Microsoft may add until the release. Who knows? Anybody here is a Windows developer, Microsoft employee? I guess not, so we don't know. Windows is a proprietary, closed-source, black box software, remember that folks.
