OK got it from you as usual. Thanks for showing the light by suggesting to read the OP. On another note but not applying to you at all, from some of my recent interactions I figured there is a reply and then there is a reply that questions your intelligence and/or competence. Not everyone is a software savvy person but then not everyone is a physicist or a doctor or a teacher.
As windows advances from 7 to 8.1 to 1607 and then to 1703/1709, the install process takes longer. One major culprit is this Cortana intro that takes most of 2 mins to get thru.
Alright thanks! Another question, is LTSB actually lighter than Pro? I'm planning to install it on my other old PC with 2GB of limited DDR3 RAM, will I be able to benefit it for it lacks Cortana and other related stuff but then includes other enterprise level things which are not needed? Thanks!
Has anyone noticed store not working properly and with an error message in 1709. I guess we have 2 options: get buggy builds or get frozen out of future security updates. I have had extreme stability with RTM/1511 but 1607 removed list view. It was still stable. 1703 removed list view and also taskbar icons randomly on startup. So one has to take a pick as to which bug is more acceptable.
Hmm...Last time I checked it would only offer if you chose Skip Ahead to next Windows Release. Now, its otherwise. Confusion!!!
I had download ESD Files with 16299 version, and convert to ISO,But i use powerISO to USB,Still not installed.
Mount the .iso and execute setup to upgrade. If you want to create a USB stick, format the stick, mount the .iso and copy the content of the mounted .iso to your USB stick. You don't need Rufus.
